The Polytech Engineering School Preparation course is a two-year course which permits students who have obtained a secondary school diploma to directly enroll in one of the Polytech Network schools, with the ultimate goal of obtaining an enginnering degree from a Polytech school. This course consists of following a curriculum of classic scientific studies at the University of Nantes, which are complemented by a series of additional modules within a Polytech engineering school.

Objectives

The Polytech Engineering School Preparation course offered by Polytech'Nantes is carried out in collaboration with the "UFR Sciences et Techniques de Nantes" -the science department at the University of Nantes. The course is largely based on the curriculum of the first two years of studies for the bachelor of physics degree (licence) offered by the UFR and is reinforced by additional courses in engineering and English at Polytech. A two-year undergraduate degree is awarded upon completion of the PeiP course, which permits students, should they so desire, to continue with the UFR curriculum and obtain a French licence in either physics or EEA-IE (electronics, automation, and electrical engineering).
